Our Story
With two daughters as our greatest taste-testers, our family has become a devoted crew of bread enthusiasts, particularly captivated by Japanese shokupan. Japanese shokupan has a softer, finer, and richer texture compared to traditional bread, and the ones we make even resemble the texture of clouds and cotton candy. Lin spent past five years traveled across Japan, Taiwan, and Shanghai to master this unique bread-making technique from world champions.
Building on the traditional Japanese shokupan, Lin Bakery had combined the finest Japanese flour with organic California-sourced ingredients to craft over 30 irresistible flavors of filled toast. Our family bakery has grown from making bread just for our two daughters to creating bread that is also shared with friends. Later, we applied for a home kitchen license and transformed it into a micro-enterprise(family bakery business), where we also hired two assistants to increase production and began selling to nearby communities. In just over two years, we’ve received countless positive reviews and recommendations. Some customers even pay over a hundred dollars in shipping to send Lin's toast to their children in New York or loved ones in San Francisco, and a new mom who, just a minute before her surgery, reminds Lin to reserve toast for her the next day…
We are deeply grateful for the love our customers have shown for our bread, and stories like these continuously inspire us to put our best effort into creating the finest bread. As of now, we have over 3,200 loyal members, which we never expected. Our current production capacity can’t meet the demand, and we sincerely apologize for that! We are working quickly to increase our production this coming year and make it easier for everyone to share delicious moments with family and friends!
